I am a proud first-generation Canadian, and a devoted father of two wonderful children. My journey to Canada began in 2012 when I made the decision to come here in search of a brighter future for myself and my family. The opportunity to build a life in Canada was something I had always dreamed of, and it felt like the right moment to make that leap.

My Canadian adventure began in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where I started as a student, eager to learn and immerse myself in this new country. Though my time there was short, it was an important part of my story. In 2014, I moved to Northeast Calgary, and this is where I truly began to feel at home.

Northeast Calgary has been a place of immense warmth and kindness. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the community. The people of this area have made it such a special place for me to live, grow, and raise my children. The diversity and inclusiveness of the region are qualities that resonate deeply with me. Since settling here in 2014, I have never felt the need to move anywhere else – it’s a place that feels like home in every sense of the word.

Throughout my time in Calgary, I have embraced the philosophy that Canada embodies – "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," meaning "the world is one family." This belief has shaped how I view my life here. Canada, with its diversity and rich cultural fabric, truly feels like a global family, and I am proud to be part of that. The sense of belonging, the shared values, and the unity among people from different walks of life make this country a place where everyone can thrive, no matter where they come from. I am grateful for the life I've built here and the opportunity to raise my children in such a welcoming and inclusive environment.
